Loved it! So happy to get another Gannon book!! I am really impressed with the author, I know some people don’t like m/m romances and I was honestly super surprised she went this way with the story but I’m so glad she did, I personally love m/m books and all kinds really, if I love the characters and story line everything’s game for me I don’t discriminate. It was a bold and brave move and she nailed it! If you don’t like m/m there’s not tons in this book that if you skipped it and waited for the next one would impact your progress in the story if that makes sense. I’m honestly really disappointed in some of the comments, upset about two men in love and not wanting to read more of the authors work, Like really you’re going to not support this amazing and talented author who you enjoyed over one book (eye roll). I understand skipping it or just not reading the love scenes if you aren’t into that or it makes you uncomfortable, I get that and don’t hold that against anyone at all, being that I am actually respectful of people’s right to choose (insert side eyed glare) then don’t read It that’s your choice. BUT if you’re up for trying something new she is very tasteful in the romance scenes and their bond is really beautiful, I just love her characters, you get so connected to them it’s amazing. So again if your open to something new give it a try, if not that’s fine you can always read the next one, there aren’t tons of huge events in the book except the ending so maybe borrow it and just read the end I don’t know haha (shamelessly trying to get you to read it). But seriously give it a shot it’s a really amazing book, and I don’t think you should let one book keep you from reading her other works or future books You would seriously be missing out.
